Every Citizen has a legal right to file a factually correct and truthful complaint with the concerned authority. In case of any matter in which Chandigarh Police is authorized to act, one may file complaint through the following ways:-

In case of any crime related complaint, one may call the Chandigarh Police Control Room No. 112 or 0172-2749194 or 0172-2744100. Also, one may complaint to the concerned area Police Station or Police Post. However, if one is dissatisfied with the response of the Police Control Room, Police Station or Police Post then one may complaint to the IGP/Chandigarh, DIG/Chandigarh, SSP/Chandigarh or to the concerned Sub-division Police Officer.
