Special Cell for protection of Run-Away Couples

A special cell has been established at anti human trafficking unit Sector 17 Chandigarh which shall collect and maintain information and prepare the database in respect of run-away couple who approach the Hon'ble high court and the Hon'ble District and session judge UT Chandigarh for protection and call for reports regarding assessment of threat perception to them.

In this regard, 24 hours helpline number 7087116999 or 112 has been set up to receive and register request for protection and to co-ordinate with the concerned police officer for providing necessary assistance/advice/ protection to such couple.
